Campaign Brief Article

September 13, 2019

From Campaign Brief:

"Western Sydney Ad School is the brainchild of Australian advertising legends Rocky Ranallo (right) and Matt Smith (centre). Based in Parramatta, the school’s mission is to offer an advertising course that’s affordable and more accessible to creative people who wouldn’t normally consider an advertising career. The first twelve week semester launches later this month."

Says Ranallo: “I just think there’s a whole lot of good talent out west that the industry is missing out on because of the high cost of most advertising schools. If you come from the Eastern Suburbs or have a dad or mum in the business you get a leg up. I want to give those disadvantaged kids a chance to build a book of ads so they can get a job. Simple as that.”
